I Will Pay You $10 to Tie My Shoe
I will pay you $10 to tie my shoe... But only if you are brave about it! Here's what will happen: I will be sitting on a bench at Father Hennepin Bluff Park from 12-1pm on Sunday, June 14th. One of my shoes will be untied. There will be no foolproof way to distinguish between me, a person willing to pay you $10 to tie their shoe, and a random person who will likely be very confused and upset if you attempt to tie their shoe for them. You may not ask me "Are you the person paying people $10 to tie their shoe?" Any such attempts at confirming my identity or otherwise reducing your risk of personal embarrassment will result in your $10 payment being forfeited. But if you take a leap of faith and simply tie my shoe without seeking any clarification, your courage will be rewarded handsomely. Free will is a limitless resource. The choice is yours.
